In addition to the basic training you'll get during the AFCOE Complete Course, students can receive specialized instruction and mentorship by choosing a more specialized track. Sixteen hours of focused instruction will be available in one of the following five areas:
Lay Pastoral: Discover how to clarify your call, how to understand church dynamics, and be an effective leader of change. Learn how to conduct the special services of a church (dedications, communions, marriages, funerals, anointing services).
Advanced Preaching: Receive instruction from world-class preachers. You will gain preaching experience and have personalized evaluations. This track may lead to opportunities in lay evangelism.
Health Evangelism: Get an overview of seminars that effectively meet the physical and emotional needs of participants and assist in conducting a health seminar while learning to lead those attending to a study of God's truth.
Advanced Bible Worker: Receive even more extensive training in how to awaken spiritual interest, lead small groups, coordinate bridge events, generate and track interests, and to gain decisions with confidence.
Youth Evangelism: Learn to instill passion for Christ among the youth in your church. Be prepared how to counsel those contemplating courtship and marriage. Learn to lead a spirit of worship that is full of life, yet uncompromising in standard.
